Last Sunday, test trips were carried out with the MS Rüm Hart from Wyk, Dagebüll, Wittdün and Hooge together with the Wyker Dampfschiffs-Reederei (W.D.R.). Among other things, the mooring options at the various harbours were successfully tested. The catamaran is designed so that the large ferry berths can also be used. On Sunday evening, the ship was transferred to Husum for final outfitting and today, Tuesday 14 May, it will return to Wyk on Föhr - the catamaran's home port. Theofficial christening of the ship will take place here on Wednesday 15 May at 12.00 noon. Following the christening ceremony, the newbuild will embark on a longer charter for Adler-Schiffe GmbH & Co KG, which will be given the charter name Adler Rüm Hart.
From Monday 20 May, the MS Adler Rüm Hart will commence its sailing schedule. From Wyk/Föhr, it departs daily (Sundays only from June to September) at 10.15 a.m. to Amrum and continues with the Adler Express connection on the fastest route to Sylt. From Monday to Thursday you can reach Heligoland from Amrum with the catamaran Adler Cat. There is also a daily service (Sundays only from June to September) from Wyk/Föhr with the Adler Rüm Hart via Amrum to Hooge and Mondays to Thursdays to Langeness. On the Halligen you have plenty of time to explore the island.
From 20 May, there will also be a fast connection between Amrum and Dagebüll on Mondays to Thursdays. This means that for the first time it will be possible to reach the islands of Sylt and Helgoland regularly from Dagebüll - whether on holiday or on a day trip.
